Baby, It's Time To Go...

Uuuuugh, why can't I just travel instead of going to school?
We just got back from Whistler, which was beyond gorgeous; the mountains are aaaaaaaahmazing. I blame my attachment to the rockies on the fact that that is what I was born looking out at, literally. Natalie, Jessie, Caleigh and I spent the days skiing and watching events, and then at night after the fam dinners Natalie and I would either go out, or meet up with one of her friends from the city and go out with him. The first night Nat and I went out alone, and managed to get into an interesting situation. We were walking towards the base of the mountain in Whistler village and when he saw Nat yawn, one of the athletes came up to us and started asking questions, like where are you from, etc. Neither of us really registered that he was one of the Olympians until just before he left I noticed the pass around his neck, that read ""Olympic athlete".
The second night as Nat and I walked over to meet up with her friend and right when she said something that made me laugh and I turned, laughing and smiling, the Korean Olympic snowboarders walked up, and 2 out of the 3 guys winked and smiled at me. Aaaaaaawkkkkssssss.

Then, on our final night in the brilliant BC, as we were walkig up to get something to eat 3 guys walked up and asked where the starbucks was. We figured they actually didn't know, so pointed them in the right direction. Nieve, right? Anyways, one of the guys went on to aske where we were from, and how much longer we were in Whistler. When they found out it was our last night they kind of lost intrest and backed off. Strange.. Isn't that usually what guys are looking for? Well, maybe I shouldn't short change them, all the guys I know are perfectly happy with someone they don't know and will never see again. Hmm.. maybe I need to meet better guys?
