Letters That You Threw Away...

Six days until my birthday. One month, six days until the beginning of the end. Technically speaking, there are only twenty five days of torture - then exams begin. Aaah, the end of school is so close, and this year, more than ever, I'm waiting [impatiently] for it to come. My summer plans are just too exciting to wait for [not to mention the fact that none of said plans include school]! Here's a little break down of what's coming up:
May:
  • My Birthday [the 4th]
  • Competition [the 23rd] and,
  • 2 1/2 exams
June:
  • last days of school [ends on the 4th]
  • exams [5 1/2 exams]
  • DONE school for the year
Rest of June, July and August
  • Competing [out of a different place North-West of the city - most beautiful place ever!]
  • Cottage
  • Work [fingers crossed I get the job I'm hoping for - if not I have a back up], and
  • more competition
Now for more current things, I know I haven't written in a while / I'm not 100% dependable [more like 5% dependable] when it come to writing often, but I've been super busy lately.. and just too lazy to open my computer.

Saw Vikki, Penelope, Cassie and Kristie this weekend which was sooosososo nice, considering I haven't seen then in forever. Hopefully I'll be able to see more of them as things slow down. School has been normal, the usual drama - Cadela is still a whore, nothing new there. Chloe is coming over this weekend and coming up north with me which should be fun.

On a much less relevant note, Rugby = one of my new favorite sports. Sooooo much fun, haha, Chloe and I have the same gym class, and this is what we've been playing for the past 2 weeks. Looove it.

Left Me Here With My Mistakes...

School is like a whirlwind right now, especially when things are picking up sport-wise as well. Friday, Chloe and I hung out and had some fun roaming the fields at a place just outside the city - ran into some porcupines, please note*: they're not so friendly..
Saturday I went and saw Cassie [Chloe and I saw her friday as well] and then Tiffany came and picked me up from there and we went shopping! It was awsome to see her, especially because it's been 2 months since I've seen I last visited her. She slept over, and we spent the night eating, facebook creeping, talking to Chicago [who I always have quite memorable conversations with] and we also made a late night Tim Horton's run.. just couldn't resist the temptation of chocolate donuts and toasted bagels with cream cheese - soooo good. Oh lovely, I'm hungry now.
Sunday I went up north [Cassie was there too, although I hadn't realized she would be] this was the first time my mom had see the place, and she was in awe. It's an unbelievable place. Aaand today was your average, why-did-I-even-bother-waking-up?-type monday mornings. Love them.

First period today, however, was quite interesting. The phys-ed class opposite mine is a freshmen boys gym class. Their teacher, the nicest one at my school in my opinion, was not happy. Someone had written really rude comments on the attendance sheet the class before and he had gotten in trouble for it. When no one in the class confessed he decided to opt for an interesting form of punishment. The entire class had to run around the 400m track for an hour and 15 minutes. It was painful to watch, but no one fessed up, so their gym classes are only going to consist of running until they do. The only positive[ish] note on this story is that near the end of class as the boys were running a few of them took off their shirts. Now, lets be serious here, grade 9 boys, it's not possible to be legit jacked. Even my gym teacher commented. She said, "woow, these guys are scraaaawnyyy!"

I'll Run, Only Far Enough Away To Make You Miss Me...

Have you ever though, "Gee, life would be so much easier if we were born knowing this stuff.." ? Ooooh how I wish it was this way. Hmm, my day today - started with talking to Vikki [who I never see anymore!] about summer jobs / plans. School was school, there isn't much else to say about it. Lunch with Chloe, Kelsey, Kristine, Lola and Darcy was fun. Darcy was telling me about how this weekend she's going out with this guy who is one of the top athletes in the country, and when she said all his friends who compete with him were a bunch older Kristine was shocked that I didn't think that was a problem. I reminded her of her March Break, and she realized that she's just as bad as I am. It was definitely a you-had-to-be-there thing, but I guess all you have to know is that it was veery funny.
[I'll fill in the blanks about Kristine's adventures later - there are quite a few jokes that revolve around it]

I was talking to Tiffany today [who send me a picture of the most beautiful guy ever - next to the one Natalie and I spotted on Easter Sunday] she was telling me about a girl she's friends with who is a total snob - she is the one who told Tiffany that she had no right to be mad that Chicago [Tiffany's cousin] was sexting one of their other friends. Yeah, oooookay.

The Truth Comes Out Like Turpentine...

I really need to get better at updating more regularly. Anyways, I'll fill you in on what has happened since wednesday.

Thursday was a pretty normal day, went on a super long walk with Larissa and the dog. Almost talked Kelsey into writing her english essay/response in "gina" [ie. i'z b h8ing yu] and as a reward promised her cookies for a week [unfortunately she didn't do it - I would have paid to see our english teacher's expression]. Then Friday I went to see Cassie, but she wasn't there so I hung out with some of the other people she works with, and then had a fam dinner + guests.

Saturday we [Kelsey, Darcy, Kristine, Sarah, Chloe and I] went out for dinner downtown for Chloe's Birthday! Afterwards we met up with one of their really close guy friends and hung out at Chloe's. Now, this isn't just any guy we were with - this is the friend that was "dating" Cadela. He was telling us stories about her as we walked from the bus back to Chloe's, things she said, did, etc. [including the "I have no gag reflex" comment, and a new one - she asked him if he wanted to watch her shower, which he obviously agreed to. I mean, come on. He's a guy.] Honestly, what a hoe.

Sunday was boring, lots of homework and such, which brings us to today [Monday]. Today was another regular / boring day. My countdown until the end of the school year officially started today - we have 54 days [including weekends] I can't wait to be free of the hell-hole for 3 months, and be able to work, swim, sleep and compete to my heart's content.

I'll Learn To Love Again...

#23 if it seems like there is something wrong, ask her - if she denies it, she doesn't want to talk about it - so just hug her.

This Is The End Of You And Me...

Aaaaah, okay so today I email the scout who approached me about modelling, basically saying - what is the commitment, and will it work if I'm a student and competitive athlete?
So, I'm still waiting on a reply, but I'll write as soon as I get it.
Today was an average day, school was boring, etc. Stayed later for some math help and Pearse, Jay and a few other guys were there. At one point they decided it would be a good idea to take my phone [Jay and one of the other guys] and text a bunch of people - namely, Reea, Tiffany and Catherine and a guy I've gone to school with for forever. The last one was super awkward, seeing as what they sent wasn't retarded enough for him not to think about it. Pearse was nice, which always scares me. I don't know what I'll do with myself if he ever confirms what everyone keeps telling me -- that he doesn't just want to be friends. But, lets not go there until it's absolutely necessary.
Anyways, I'm going over to see Cassie later on, and for now I must study. I'm counting down the weeks until final exams, and then temporary freedom!

I Think I'm Everything You Hate...

Woooow, I need to get back on track here. Being busy is officially not a good enough excuse to neglect LLST. But.. is excitement? Okay so we'll recap -

Monday, tuesday and wednesday were not my best days - things just didn't seem to be going my way. This all turned around wednesday night, though. I went and saw Cassie, and for the first time in a while, I saw Penelope! It was nice catching up with her [getting her in trouble] and seeing Cassie.
Thursday, now thursday gets it's own paragraph. Thursday morning Catherine came over and we got ready, got a bit to eat [she brought Starbucks - yumm] and then went downtown and met Kelsey, Sarah and Kristine at the charity we're doing a bit of work through school at. We talked to them for a bit and then went out for a proper breakfast [at a cute little creperie in the shopping district] and then went to go sit outside in the heart of the downtown center. While we were there, our mission to talk to all sorts of people on behalf of our charity, a few things happened: 1. Darcy joined us, 2. we got a bunch of funny interviews with people to help this little charity, and 3. I got scouted to model.
3rd one is a bit out of the blue, right? Well, I sure thought so - the lady came up, asked how old I was, and then asked me if I was interested in modelling! Afterwards we checked it out to see if it was a scam, and it seemed pretty legit - it's Molly Sim's agency, haha.
* Instead of saying it everyday, I'll just tell you here that tuesday, wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday I went and help Cassie out / hung out with her.
Friday was pretty calm, went over to Sarah's with Kelsey and Darcy for Chloe's BIRTHDAY! Saturday I went out to see a girl I know through Cassie, and that was really good - I'm thinking I'll be spending more and more time out there, working and such.
Sunday, was of course, Easter. Caleigh, Natalie, Jessie and I went out for Starbucks after church so the parents could hide Easter Eggs. Yes, we still do that - and yes, the easter bunny is in fact real. [Well, real enough for me to want the Laura Secord chocolate]
And now we've reached Monday, the day of cramming. I'm planning on getting all homework done by.. 8ish [not that it's likely], in order to still get out on a bike ride or something with Nat or Jessie.
