They'll Think Its Just Because We're Young...

Aaaaaatt Tiffany's! We spent most of the day shopping, got a few amaaazing things:
  1. Citizens of Humanity jeans
  2. A lush floral tank from Nordstrom
  3. Kate Spade bangles (in pink and white)
  4. and a few other shirts and things
And then Tiffany and I were talking to Chicago about our shopping and we got into a nice little conversation about how I'm expensive:
Chicago- "woow, how much does she charge a night?"
Tiffany- "$1675.69"She has
Chicago- ".69 cents? nice touch"
Tiffany- "Yep, even strippers and prostitutes have to pay their taxes"
Chicago- "Sounds like she gets a lot of business.."
Tiffany- "Shes has a VIP client list"
Chicago- "Damnn, shes a top dog"

So somewhere in there i went from an addicted shopper to a prostitute? nice. Love how I'm turning into all these lovely things..

New friend to add to the list -
Kiley - a girl I met in Ireland this summer, her brother and Natalie are good friends - possibly more? too cuteee

They're Bad Boys, And Good Liars...

Exams are ooooover. I have had an amazing [long] weekend, starting with being free of all work, add a little dancing in the middle, and finally, a lot of catching up on sleep.
Saturday was Mac's party, which was definitely all it had been built up to be. Tons of dancing - my faaaavorite. It was soooo nice to see Mac, Vikki, Kristie and Cassie all together.

Now, I have a story, but in order for it to have an impact we have to move backwards a little bit.. Last year Mac was having problems with this boy.. she had liked him and he was being an asshole. Long story short, being the friend who isn't afraid to stand up for a friend, he wasn't my biggest fan.

So this boy was going through Mac's phone and stopped on a picture of her and I, here is how that conversation went:
boy: Who is the girl in this picture with you, do you have more pictures with her?
Mac: uhhm, you kind of know her already, and yeah i do...
boy: What? How do I know her?
...
boy: OH MY GOD. IT'S THE BITCH.

Loooovely - I guess I should change my name from "Kelly" to "the Bitch"? Hahaha, anyways apparently he still asked to see the other picture Mac was looking for, and said something about how he wished the girl he hated was uglier [sorry bud, no can do].
Okay, I'm telling you this because he was there on saturday. Now, if you've been following since August, you have to know I stir up trouble, always. I planned to go up and dance with him, because he had clearly figured out who I was, but every time I remembered to look for him he wasn't dancing [BOO.] I did manage to dance with Mac right in front of him, but never actually got to dance with him. again, Boo.

Last night Lola and I hung out, which hasn't happened in ages! I had to meet Cassie this morning, so she got to meet her as well.

I'm so excited for this friday - I leave to visit Tiffany [and do some extreme shopping] early in the morning. This week is a joke - monday and tuesday off, wednesday is a half day, thursday night Natalie and I are going to a concert and friday I'm off to Tiffany's!

Paper Bags And Plastic Hearts...

Kelsey called me this morning and informed me that she had just failed her french exam, and was then left at the school to go home by herself. I was happy to be talking to her from my warm, cozy window seat. Exams suck, this is true, but all the time that you have to study (when you should be studying and you're not) is so nice!

Nothing much new for you, have an exam tomorrow morning, which should be fun, considering failing seems to be what I have myself lined up for on this one. Mac's party is getting closer, and I'm still so screwed for a dress - help?

Wish me luck..?

Meet Me On The Other Side...

Today, is definitely a beautiful day. Sure, the sky is graaaay, but I have officially written 2/6 exams, and I'd have to say, I think they went pretty well. Neither of them were too difficult, and I studied... enough.

Now, I don't feel like studying for a little bit, sooo I have some things to share. So, last time I went to visit Tiffany we went out for dinner and met up with a few guys she is friends with, nothing special. Anyways, as we were leaving they met up with a few other guys, one of them, being possibly the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. Anyways, I kind of forgot about him until maybe mid last week, when Tiffany and I were talking about how I'm visiting in a few weeks [and about the power shopping we'll be doing]. And so I got her to ask this guy what his friend's name was, and then added him to her facebook, on her behalf. Long story short, he remembered us, aaaaand I have my fingers crossed that you'll hear more about him! If we do end up meeting up with him, oooh boy will I have stories for you.

I realized I haven't said much about Vikki in a while, maybe because shes taken? I don't know, but there is no more Nobody drama, so things aren't all that eventful. Have yet to meet the boyfriend [hopefully shes reading, maybe she'll finally let me meet him? haha] Either way, I'll be spending the majority of my summer with her, so you'll be sick of her by september.

Aaaah, summer - I can't believe I am referring to it as if its around the corner! I wish.

Next up, saturday is Mac's party - really excitedd! Its going to be a blast, I found a really pretty dress for it, aaaaannd then they discontinued it before I could get my hands on it. Sucks. But whatever, I think I found another one, so it's all goodd.

She's High Society...

I thought I would start something - in addition to my regular posts, every day I'm going to add one thing from a list I stole from Mac called 60 Ways to Steal a Girl's Heart. I'll put one after my post for the next 60 posts.

Not much new happening, not that I have the time to explain what is happening. Get ready for this weekend - you'll get all the details, seeing as exams will be ooooveeeerrr!

You Don't Know What You're Going To Lose...

Yet another day of studying - or should I say attempting..

I know I haven't said much about him lately, but I still see Team Canada every once and a while. He is good friends with Caleigh so even when I don't see him, I hear about what he is up to. The reason I bring it up, is because today I was watching TV and came across the World Cup Super G [ski racing]. A Canadian was going, and I though the downhill suit looked a lot like TC's. I did a bit of facebook creeping, and I realized - his profile picture is of him leaving the gate racing at the World Cup! The guy I had been watching wasn't him, but he had been doing the same thing a few days earlier.

Why is it that I can find the guys with all the talent in the world [Team Canada, Thumper, etc.] but it never works out. Thumper now lives on the other side of the country [and remember - he seems to have "forgotten" who I am..] and Team Canada is either in a different country or partying with Caleigh [which most of the time would be a plus, but not in this situation]

I guess you can't always get what you want...

I'll Be Your Guardian...

The longer I go without writing, the harder it is to pick it up again. Lets start with my excuse - exams suck.

Went on a walk with Chris today [took the dog out] which was really nice. A little sibling bonding, I guess. He told me about all the 'drama' in his life at the moment, [ex-girlfriend is a bitch, friends are the usual, school sucks, etc.] and I must say, I wish I was having some of these problems. My advice for him?
Hook up with the ex-girlfriend's best friend [which may sound retarded, but when you're dealing with someone who used you, you have to use them right back, or make them mad] , start studying/not skipping [a pigeon could have come up with this] and whatever, deal with the friend stuff.
I though the ex-girlfrend story was interesting, so guess what?! You get to hear it too! yaaaay.
So Chris had people over beginning of Christmas break, and didn't invite the gf because she had told him she was busy. Fair enough, right? Welll, she finds out that these girls she doesn't like were there and flips her shit - but doesn't say anything to Chris. [So being the oblivious boy he is, of course he doesn't notice] Then when he realizes shes not really talking to him and in his words, "acts like she wants to kick me in the face everytime she sees me" he tries to figure out what is wrong. The next little bit is predictable, she gets upset, he tries to fix it, she gets upset, he asks for a second chance - she says nothing. [and apparently this nothing constitutes as a yes in this little girl's world] anyways, long story short he keeps trying to get her to open up, and adds to what he had been saying before about why he though she was mad [it was some little thing] and she gives him the "You're not being "straight forward and truthful", that was your second chance.
All I could say was, "Whyyy did you date such a bitch for sooooo long?"
Seriously though, if my boyfriend broke up with me because I wasn't being, "truthful" I think I would laugh in his face.
Umm sorry babe, but I don't expect you to tell me everything, so I'm not going to tell you everything. Thats how these things always work - get used to it.

Next, I gave you some false information - Reea and Derek = definitely not together.
Andddd Reea and Carina's friendship is 'on the rocks'. Carina has been nameless in my last 2 [?] posts - she is the one who was going to switch schools. She is a sweetheart and told me about everything with Reea [who is know as the type to pick a friend, chew her up and spit her out - I can say this because I was one of the first to be privileged with this] She is such a sweet girl - hopefully things don't blow up between the two.

Carina - Reea's 'best friend' we've been friends since grade 2 - love her to death, even if we're not best friends

Okay, I'll have a bunch of stuff for you - after exams. I am going to visit Tiffany [!!!] in about 2 weeks, so I'll definitely have stories to share after that, but for now - must stop procrastinating!

-xx, Kelly.

Queen of Everything The Eye Can See...

You remember, I'm sure, everything about my friend switching schools? [if not, see the post directly below this] Well, I was talking to Reea [who is best friends with her] today and she was saying that the other girl is coming back to our school. Reea and a few other girls apparently went over to her house yesterday and talked her out of switching. Long story short - a lot of useless drama.

Another little bit of wasted time - Reea and Derek are back together. I believe they broke up for a weekend. Pointless? I'd say so. Maybe there is a real reason for the madness... although there probably isn't.

Saw Cassie yesterday, and had absolutely no motivation to do anything whatsoever. Soooo, we didn't really do much. Penelope was also there for a few minutes, but i arrived just as she was leaving.

On the Pearse front - nothing has really happened. I'm starting to notice the "casual" flirting more and more, and there always seem to be these awkward encounters. Lola and I were talking this morning and he came up to us, and started talking to me. Lo pointed out that it wasn't a, "Hey Kelly, Hey Lola..." type thing, but more of a, "Hey Kelly."
Crossing my fingers that it's all my imagination!

Alright, this is the end of my little update, have to finish a few assignments and walk the dog [Larissa - that means you too!] and maybe [just maybe] sleep tonight?

- xx, Kelly.

Maybe It's The Way The Night Is Still...

In one day the tables seem to have turned, drastically. A girl that I've been friends with and gone to school with since 2nd grade switched schools as of today - but no one knows. She was supposed to have a party before the break, and her parents came home early from wherever they were and found out, and it was moved to another girl's house. She wasn't there that night but that didn't surprise me. Anyways, one of my friends (Noelle) texted me asking if she was switching schools. Turns out she switched to Noelle's school.

And then, her best friend, Reea and her year long boyfriend (Derek) are no more.
Chloe told me, and then pointed out how hes got sort of an emo hair style at the moment. (although, his hair is pretty short, so it only covers 1/2 an inch of his forehead.. but still)

Noelle - a best friend since grade 2 - we used to live across the street from each other and spent every waking hour together. I haven't seen her in forever, but fingers-cross that will change soon

Ohhh, lastly, I have another little Chicago story.
I was talking to Tiffany yesterday and she was telling me about Chicago's visit over New Years and how all her friend were going craaazy over him [this made me laugh] Anyways, she was saying that her family was trying to get him to go to University near them, and saying that he could stay over and visit on weekend and such. Sooo, Tiffany goes,
"I guess you'll have to sleep on the couch whenever Kelly visits.."
and Chicago replies, "Naah why would I do that? We can share her bed."

You Lie Much Too Much...

Woooow am I procrastinating. I think I'm going to end up studying for exams the night before this year. Who came up with the brilliant idea of having mid-term exams that don't change anything about the finals? I could understand if the finals were just the work from after the mid terms, but they're not.

Talking to Mac, at the moment. We're scheming about how to get her ex back for all the wonderfully ass-hole-ish things he did. He better watch outtttttt - I've been a bitch since kindergarten. This is my specialty.

Take Me With You, I Start To Miss You...

Home.
It was heelllllll getting here - from beginning to end it has been disaster after disaster.

On Tuesday after we left the airport [after breaking one of the airport's doors with a ski bag, hahaha] we all piled into the truck and took off. About 20 minutes into our trip one of the ski bags fell off the roof and onto the highway. We turned around to go back and pick it up and as we were coming up to the spot it had dropped [going the other direction, of course] Jessie spotted a white pick up driving away with our purple ski bag sticking out the back. We called the cops and explained what had happened, and about 15 minutes after the phone call had been made the bag was returned. Natalie was freaking out the whole time - worried that her new racing skis had been in the bag and were damaged when it fell. She was lucky - her skis were in the other bag but of course, I have horrible luck and mine were in the bag that had fallen off the roof, greeeeaat..
Wednesday Natalie, Caleigh, Jessie and I all went out skiing together, which was fun. Jessie and Natalie had both been skiing the whole week before and were adjusted to it so I stuck with Caleigh for the most part. Thursday Natalie and I went out together and had Near-Death-Experience-#87410. Seriously, we do such stupid things when left alone. We went up to the top of the mountain again except this time instead of the black diamond we took the double black diamond, which included a massive bowl [for those of you who don't ski, a bowl is basically a huge indent in the hill. Kind of like a crater] The top half of the run was fine, until we got into the bowl. We stopped in order to organize our self before realizing that we couldn't see the base of the run - it was almost directly below us. After a few If-I-Die-I-Love-You-s, we got a few quick turns in a then managed our way out of the bowl and back onto the regular hill. Thursday was also New Years Eve, which was fun. Natalie, Jessie, Caleigh and I went out to the lodge at the base of the mountain and checked out what was happening there. On our way back later on that night we crossed paths with a few guys about the same age as Caleigh, Natalie and I. We stayed and talked to them for a bit - the usual, until none of us could feel our legs anymore and we had to go.
[We are going to skip over Friday, it was the same as tuesday]
Yesterday/Saturday was another 13 hour travel day starting at 7:30am. We got to the airport around 11:30 and found out Air Canada had messed up our tickets and had us booked on the Sunday flight. After a half hour of panic they concluded that there were seats for us on the plane, except not everyone could go. Natalie and Jessie had to go so Caleigh and I were going to stay behind.
Then only one person had to stay behind.
Then two had to stay behind.
Then back to one.
And then there were enough seats for all of us.
In the end we all got on the flight except our luggage didn't make it. Caleigh and I had some things with us as we took some stuff out of our bags when we thought we were staying but Natalie and Jessie were on their way to a race [skiing] without skis, poles, helmets or gloves sunday morning.
Like I said, it was hell getting home, but we got here.

Moving on, today I saw Cassie which was sooo nice, and I'm now procrastinating. I have a major essay due tomorrow, which I haven't started writing yet. I'm hoping that writing here will get me into a good mindset for essay writing [highly unlikely, but whatever..]

One last thing, something that is really bothering me right now is that Caleigh talks about Thumper a lot, and now I'm back stuck thinking about him. It's sooo bad, I know, but how do I help it? GOD - is it in human nature to ALWAYS want what we can't have? Because we're never happy with what we've got.

- xx, Kelly.

P.S. ...

Pearse sent me a bbm say that he loves me a few days ago.
Either he was hiiiiiiigggggghhhhhh or there is a small problem on its way. Everyone says that he is a huge flirt when I'm around (and I get reminded daily) but I'm really not into him.. ohh well. I'm sure I'll have stories for you when I get back.

- xx, Kelly.

P.S. HAPPY NEW YEARS!
