I Want To Dance On Your Body The Way I Shake It On Stage...

The title of this post makes me sound like a stripper - its lyrics from Don't Talk to Strangers by Hedley, nooo worries.

I am officially out west (in BC) skiing in the Rockies with Natalie, Jessie and Caleigh. Nat and I ditched the fam today and went on our own little adventure. I have to say, from now on I'm following her - I decided we should go down this nice little path which later turned into a death trap. The hill was so steep that we couldn't see the base, and there were bowls on either side of us. Did I mention the avalanche warning? Haha, we're okay and it was a lot of fun but I'm done with leading for the rest of this trip.

Thumper, thumper, thumper. Oooh booy. Why does he keep reappearing? He goes to school out here in BC for God's sake! He was back home for the holidays and Caleigh saw him at a party, and apparently he has gotten even better looking and by 2012 could potentially be playing Rugby in the big leagues. Good thing kelly can find the boy with all the potential and loooooooose him. Uggh. Anyways, the part that made me laugh is that she brought me up when she was talking to him and guess what!? He pretended not to know me. Instead he went bright red and asked who "Kelly" was. What a jerk. Lovely, right? Whatever after hearing that he is deeeeeffinitely not worth it, no matter how good he is at rugby.

On another note, I've been talking to Tiffany a bunch more and Chicago is up visiting her for New Years! Hahaha, she was saying that her dad keeps asking him if "my bed" [the guest room is the 'Kelly' room] is comfy, and if he needs me to fly down to fill in the extra space. I love that family. I was talking to Tiff's dad earlier today and he said that she was really sick, succcksss.

Cream Coloured Ponies, and Crisp Apple Strudel...

I love Christmas - its been about 9 days since i was last on my computer, which makes me feel like I'm off in my own little world, but it is soo nice. Christmas with the family was awsome, and to be honest the opposite of relaxing. Whoever thought that Christmas 'break' was a time to rest was on the wrong planet.

This is going to have to be a short post as we [Natalie, Jessie, Caleigh, the rest of the fam and I] leave early tomorrow morning on our next little adventure out west.

The past two [and a bit..] weeks have been suppperrrrr busy. I saw Cassie a bunch [almost everyday, actually] and Penelope too. But going back to the thursday after my last post I have some storiesss.

First I'd like to introduce you to:
Catherine - totally gorgeous girl with a golden heart. Known her for a while, but we have just recently become close friends.

So on thursday Catherine and I got ready to go out together [which by the way - party was a bit of a bust. Seems to be a reoccurring trend with this school's parties..] and anyways, she ended up telling me about this boy that she really likes. He is a cutie but a bit of a dog. He asked her to go out with him the following weekend [after Christmas] and then bailed last minute [gaaaaaaayyyy].

Ooooh last thing - Belle and Marc are no more [last I heard, anyways] they were really cute together but I feel like the relationship was awkward. Not in a socially-awkward kind of way but in a dysfunctional way...
Meeeh this isn't worth it, I can't explain myself, its past 11pm.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAC.

Love Letters...

Oooh dear.
I really don't know where to start. Its only been 2 days, but it was two of those "Is this really happening right now!?" kind of days.

I will have some Tiffany stories for you in the near future, but lets start off with Nobody. Our dear little friend just doesn't want to leave the spotlight. Yesterday, Vikki was talking to a friend, and she informed her that Nobody had been telling everyone [in his exact words] this:
[let me remind you - they never legit dated..]
"The only reason I went out with Vikki was because I wanted to ... her. I hate her personality, and she is a bitch, but a ton of guys want to ... Vikki, so I just wanted to rub it in their faces that I got there first. It was easy - shes wrapped around my finger."
Now, lets consider the problems with this:
  • Vikki refused to let him tell anyone they were hooking up because she 1. didn't like him and, 2. didn't want people to think she was with someone like, him...
  • They never did anything more than make out ... [thats awks for him..]
  • Last time I checked, he was the one who crawled back, what, three times? uhuuh.
Moral of the story? Nobody - the recipe for the biggest mistake ever - for both of us.

Anyways, so today my school hosted a big hockey tournament, which Vikki's school's team happened to attend. Of course, what day would be complete without Nobody showing up at my school? Apparently not mine. As Sarah, Chloe, Kelsey, Kristine and I walked towards the arena, a group of guys [from Vikki's school] started talking to us. As I looked over, I caught one of the guy's eyes - Nobody's, actually.
I kept walking, slightly faster then before, and we went into the arena. As we got comfy, a few guys entered the arena. One of the girls [Kristine] noticed and whispered something about one of them staring. I looked down the stairs in the direction she pointed to, and didn't you guess right! Nobody was there smiling. We moved and sat in another spot, but I couldn't help turning around to keep an eye on where he was.
Long story short, I could tell he was telling the other guys things I don't want to hear, thinks he only wishes I would have done with him.

I Love You Enough To Let You Go...

Some people love the snow, some can't stand it. I'm stuck somewhere in the middle - it can be gorgeous, but in my eyes, the snow is the layer of ice our little Earth puts on, as if to keep us out.

We all know that it's true, everyone does it at one point or another. We lie, we hide, and we hurt our friends - the people who are only there to help - in order to get away. Away from what?
Ourselves.

I was thinking of seeing Emmie, Angel and Belle this weekend (I know - they haven't been mentioned on here for FOREVER) but, Emmie is busy, Angel is technically free but she really should be going to the other thing, and I haven't heard much from Belle. Not to mention I can't even begin to narrow down the wide range of assignment, tests, and projects I have to get done in about, 8 days.

Vikki's birthday is coming up, and I have zero time to get her a gift. Not to mention the fact that I have to find a gift for one of my friends [secret santa] for thursday. Ooh dear. There is waaay too much happening right now. As soon as the break starts a huge weight will been lifted off my shoulders - but until then, I'm stuck with stress. Yaay!..

Was supposed to go shopping today, but had to bail [because of said homework above]. I also have to bail on Cassie for later on tonight - just have to keep telling myself - only eight more..

How Do We Inspire Greatness, When Nothing Else Will Do?...

Eight days. Eight days, Eight days, Eight days.
Eight days of, "Wish the internet was working..", "I should write, but.." and "I'm too tired, I'll do it tomorrow.." s. Oooppsss...

Well...
Wednesday I saw Penelope and Cassie, again. I feel like I tell you about them both a lot, but its really because they are both such funny girls! Penelope is amazing, and I don't know what I would do without Cassie. Thursday and Friday, Natalie, Jessie, Caleigh and I were at the funeral. I have to say, it still doesn't feel real. Then friday night after everything I went up north and met Mac, and Cassie. Kristie couldn't make it, because she too had a funeral to attend, but it was still lots of fun. Saturday, and Sunday were a blast - Mac was only there on Saturday, but Cassie, another girl and I made up for the loss of people! I got home sunday night and crashed. Monday I had a major headache/migraine so I had to stay home. I have to say, migraines are the worst. You can't even sit up without cringing in pain.

Today was good to be back at school, and even better to see everyone again. I don't write as much about the girls from school as I'd like to, but I seem to be busy busy busy with all the sports that I have no time. Tomorrow I'll hopefully be going shopping with Kelsey, Kristine, Chloe, Darcy and Sarah, so I'll have stories for you there!

Now, I have to say, the boy situation isn't all that thrilling at the moment. Team Canada is no longer an option [thank youu Thumper... ughh.], Thumper is still in BC [which could stir something up when he is home for christmas..] , Chicago is M.I.A., Nobody remains a nobody, and the one possible new 'thing' isn't worth reporting. Yet...
