Feel Free To Ship Me Off To Europe Until May...

I have to say, this year is the first year that I have SERIOUSLY despised the idea of going back to school. I mean, sure, I'm never jumping up and down in anticipation.. but at least Im happy to see friends, and get my brain out of its veg. state. Not quite the same this year.
Have you ever thought about how school would feel with out your closest friends? Yes well, thats what I have to look forward to September 8th, oh joy, right?

Oh, and I've been texting Reea for the past few days. Its a little strange, as we haven't talked all summer. We talked about schedule and such, nothing special. She says shes got stories for me, so I figure that once school rolls around you'll be hearing all about these!

This weekend was a cottage weekend, and a pretty gross one, at that. Despite the clouds, and sleeting rain, I did manage to get my butt out on the water to go windsurfing. GOD is it hard on the arms/shoulders/back. It is a blast though!

On an exciting note, Bailey is coming up for christmas! It seems like its ages away, but its 4 months, and counting! I feel like its been forever since I've seen her, and it pretty well has been. A year is a very long time to go without my dose of her!

I believe that I told you about Tiffany's cousin? Okay, well she went out to see him play football on friday, and met up with him and a few of his friends afterwards. Once they went back to see family, Tiffany asked him for one of his friend's phone numbers, and you know what his response was? "Only if you give me Kelly's." Thats right, I'll continue about him a bit later on. But for now, this guy needs a name. Lets go with Chicago. I think that suits him.

The Sweetest Memories...

I choose to believe, that the sweetest memories are made at high speeds, spectacular heights, or great depths.
Rock climbing to the top of a cliff, and taking the time to admire the view below...
Scuba diving/Snorkeling and watching the underwater world dance around you...
Flying above beautiful land at amazing speed...

Today was one of those days. I met up with a friend, who I don't get to see very often (and seeing as she is off to 1st year in a week, that doesn't look like it will change) and we had one of those high-speed adventures.
Can't you just picture running down a beach, wind in your hair, sun shining? Yes, well think of that, with a few changes. I can't say exactly what we were doing, seeing as its against the rules where we were, and probably messes with the insurance, but those who know me well can guess where I was.

Talked to Emmie today, GOD do I miss that girl! She is fun to chat with, and our conversations seem to cover every topic imaginable! I've been texting Tiffany a lot since I got back, things don't seem to be going that smoothly with her dad, hopefully that improves, fingers crossed!

Cottage tomorrow, the only up-side to that is that Caleigh, Natalie and Jessie are going to be up, and they have been away for a month, so it should be nice to see them again!

Welcome to My Obsession...

As I said in the other post, school is on its way - less than two weeks of summer left!
SO, in order to start off the new year nicely, I bought a new pair of school shoes!

They're pretty plain, but they do have a bit of a buckle that I'm worried I wont get away with. We shall see! (Link to the shoes - below)

Its a Girl Thing...

Got back from Tiffany's yesterday at midnight, which was bitter-sweet. I loved spending the better part of a week with her, but it really hit me that I wont see her anywhere near as much, maybe not for a few months. We did a TON of shopping, especially because shes going to a new school - and its NOT all girls, like her previous one was. One thing that I learned being there, is that I am really glad that my parents are my parents. Tiffany doesn't really get along with her dad - and with good reason.

Funny thing - she texts her cousin a lot, and so she told him that I was visiting. He asked about me, and asked for my facebook. Obviously I gave it to him, who wouldn't? Sure, its her cousin, but hes FIT and 2 years older then me. Yes, it does break my usual only-one-year-older-no-more-no-less thing, but thats fine. Hes a decent guy. Or as he said - a 'relationship' guy who isn't a fan of the one-date-then-done method, which is good to know that there are guys who aren't like that! There is Hope!

On a less amusing and more annoying note - I left my iPod on the train ride home. It was late when I got off, so I blame it on the long day, but it still sucks.

Vikki is in the city! I will hopefully get to see her, Emmie and Belle before the school year starts up again, and Kristie - GOD school is getting close.

The Truth Hurts...

Went out with Kristie today! We saw Ugly Truth with Gerard Butler (hes sooo gorgeous) and Katherine Heigl. Some people love watching the romantic comedies, but I find that it makes me feel ever worse about the fact that I'm perpetually single, and that when a decent guy does come along, theres always a complication. (ie. hes moving, I'm moving, we live in different cities.. even different countries!) Bad luck? Maybe.

I also saw one of the girls I met in Ireland this week, we hung out - the usual. It was her last night in the city before leaving for a cottage, so we obviously had to make it worth her while.

Going to visit Tiffany tomorrow! That should be fun, I haven't seen her in a few months. Lets keep our fingers crossed that there are some cute boys in her new neighbourhood!

An update on Thumper: haven't talked to him in around two weeks, and I am officially done with him, sadly. He is moving in a few weeks, and wont be back in the city until christmas. To be honest, I've always wondered if her actually likes me...

It's In My Blood...

Well, my latest adventure took Kristie and I on a 7 hour plane ride to Ireland. We flew to Dublin, then drove 2 hours to where we would be staying - GORGEOUS. I think Ireland is in my blood, because coming home was torture! As a future note to anyone traveling to Ireland - a week is NOT long enough. Kristie and I were only there for a week, and so we are already planning our next year's trip!
We visited different sights, the usual tourism, met a few 'P.S. I Love You' boys, and mostly just enjoyed! Made some new friends - Canadian, British, German, and Irish, of course!

Seeing as I haven't written for a bit, heres what happened since the previous post:
I hung out with Thumper and Kristen again, but guess what!? Nothing happened! Not that its surprising, but its okay, he was fun, and it was cute while it lasted!
Finally got to see Belle and Marc! GOD had I missed them! We walked in the rain for a few hours, the usual Ice Cream run , then went our seperate ways.
The rest of the time, I was at the cottage or packing for Ireland, and shopping shopping shopping!
